- Chosen by Voters I'd start out Undecided. (or "General Studies" ) Then, during your first year, take some courses in both, and whatever else comes to mind. Then if you're passionate about Journalism, or Communications, or English, then major in one of those subjects. You may even be suprised to find you're interested in something completely different.
